The life of a Wife and Mom consists of a lot of highs and lows. Some days I feel like I have it all together and everything in the moment seems perfect, and other days I feel like a crazy woman who has no idea what she’s doing. I have come to realize that God built me for the task of Wife and Mom and He equips me for every single challenge that comes up. The truth is, we all have what it takes to be a virtuous woman because we have Christ living on the inside of us. God provides strength in our weaknesses and gives us wisdom when we lack the knowledge necessary in our humanness. God also provides divine strategy! This is exciting because He teaches us how to maintain our household and use our gifts and talents in business. While our role as wives and mothers is important, we must remember that we are individuals too. I am a wife and a mother, but I’m still Shelley. All of the gifts and talents God has given me are still there and I will be held accountable if I don’t utilize them. God knew that I would be a wife and mother when He placed the gifts in me and that’s a key thing to remember. Use what God has given you as an individual to propel your work as wife and mom. Everything is not going to be perfect, but perfection is not the goal. The goal is to properly manage all that God has given you to do and it takes a relationship with God to do that. Listen ladies, when you’re managing a full household and running a business life can and will get crazy, but cherish each moment…yes, even the crazy ones. My house feels like a jungle sometimes and things get messy, but I wouldn’t trade this crazy life for anything in the world! I love my life and I’m honored to serve my family.
